This program is not exporting properly or at all. SO I made a 10 minute video cut from around 40 minutes, lots of splicing and such. Video editing projects (including tracks, clips, and keyframes) can be imported and exported from OpenShot Video Editor in widely supported formats (EDL: Edit Decision Lists, and XML: Final Cut Pro format).For example, if you start editing a video in a different program (Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, etc…), but later need to move all your edits to OpenShot (or vice versa).
Openshot crashing unfortunately is not sounding very new to me. Of course, this is fatal if it happens while exporting . Try other versions (the app image, the Snap version). Else move to another videoeditor. KDEnlive is a lot more reliable. – vanadium May 11 ’20 at 11:51
